Packers go to 2-0 on Thursday Night Football

Well before I get to the Packers, I need to give some credit to Jayden Daniels. In the first Thursday Night Football game on PRIME, Daniels was under pressure all night long. He showed more poise than I thought he had. I had a Daniels INT as one of the legs in my SGP tonight because I thought the pressure would generate one or more. Well, Daniels held strong and didn't make any bad decisions or bad throws. He just kept getting up hit after hit. Daniels proved he's a top QB in this league tonight.

Even with Jayden Daniels rising above all that pressure for 200 yards and 2 TDs, the Packers were too much for the Commanders. The Packers really are looking like one of the scariest teams in the NFL. They move the ball so easily. Jordan Love is averaging over 9 yards per pass attempt. Love is spreading the ball around to multiple different targets and looks incredibly efficient. The defense looks elite as well. The front for this Packers defense is dominating so far this season. They are only allowing 2.4 yards per rush attempt and only 4.7 per pass attempt. Nobody can say they haven't played anyone either. They have played two of the best offenses in the NFC. You all know I have been down on the Lions, but I still have the Lions at 11 in my most recent Power Rankings. The Commanders are 8th. I have had the Packers at 6th, and just outside of my top tier. It may be time to give the Packers the respect they deserve.
