Best Bets for Week of 10/14
Bengals +5.5
The Steelers have a hard time moving the ball at only 5.1 yards per play. The Steelers should not be laying this many points on the road, especially against a division rival.
Browns -2.5
This is a sure win for the Browns if they can keep from turning it over. The Dolphins are a perfect matchup for the Browns. They have no answer for Myles Garrett and they have a terrible run defense. The Browns should get their second win.
UNDER 41.5 Texans @ Seahawks
The Seahawks have been one of the most efficient passing teams in the league of late, but it'll be strength vs strength against that Texans great pass defense. The Seahawks have been great on the defensive side as well and Houston has not moved the ball very well. This will be a tough battle and low scoring.
Minnesota +9.5
The Golden Gophers are getting too many points against a Nebraska team that is 2-4 against the spread. The Huskers have struggled to protect Raiola this season. I like Rhule and this Husker team but they should not be laying 9.5 on the road.
UNLV +11.5
My model has this game much closer than 11.5 points. Both of these teams are pretty good against the spread, but the Rebels score lots of points. This is of course a tough road game, but Dan Mullen will have these guys ready to play in a tough environment.
Maryland +3.5
This UCLA craze is gonna end this week. It was fun while it lasted, but this Maryland team is pretty tough. They are 3-0 ATS against three tough Big Ten teams. I like the Terps to win this game.
